SBFI AD 2.20 LOCAL AERODROME REGULATIONS

1 Airport regulations

The AD may be regularly used by any ACFT which is compatible with RCD 4C or lower.

- Operational restrictions:

a.SIMUL use of RWY 15/33 by ACFT with RCD 3 and 4 and the PARL TWY located in the apron by any ACFT is permitted only under Visual Flight Meteorological Conditions (VMC), as established by Ordinance NR 2661/SIA, of August 4, 2017

b. SIMUL use of the LDG/TKOF RWY by aircraft with RCD 3 and 4 and of the HLDG positions to the RWY established on TWY "A", "B" and "C" by any ACFT is PRB under Instrument Flight Meteorological Conditions (IMC) with meteorological minimums that require CAT I precision approach, as established by Ordinance NR 2661/SIA, of August 4, 2017.

Compulsory prior AUTH from the concessionaire with at least 02 (two) HR in advance of the operation, upon request through the WebApp-CCR AVG via the link ga.ccraeroportos.com.br when
01 - ACFT requires patio reservation;
02 - ACFT with international registration;
03 - ACFT with Brazilian registration and more than one owner/operator registered in the Brazilian Aeronautical Registry (RAB);
04 - ACFT with Brazilian registration, without aircraft/financial registration in the WebApp-CCR AVG or that needs updating, even without the intention of using the apron;
05 - Exempted ACFT, on an experience or instruction flight, in cases where the aircraft registration category in the RAB is not listed as PRIVATE, INSTRUCTION or EXPERIMENTAL.

The Airport Operations Center (APOC) will analyze the request and return the status through the WebApp- CCR AVG. When necessary, adjustments in the schedule will be requested and must be regularized within 30 MIN before the operation, otherwise the request will be canceled.

SBFI AD 2.22 FLIGHT PROCEDURES

General provisions

Unless by a special clearance from the approach or the tower, depending on the situation, the flights coming from the TMA and the CTR mustbe accomplished according to the visual or the instrument flight rules.

In the cases not prescribed and subject to the aircraft commander’s decision, each of the FOZ TMA AD may be used for landing according to the following conditions:

a) Adverse weather conditions at the AD of destination;
b) Interruption of OPS at the AD of destination;
c) EMERG Situation of ACFT.

OPS to be conducted over Iguaçu River waterfalls shall be previously coordinated and authorized by Cataratas TWR, and adjusted to the VAC traffic pattern corresponding to Foz TMA AD. When with air traffic clearance is requested, the flight shall not be considered a controlled VFR flight.

Procedures for IFR flights within TMA

All IFR flights to be executed at Foz TMA or Cataratas, Foz and Guarani CTR shall be provided with a communications EQPT that enables two-way contact with the corresponding ATS units.

TFC patterns bound for AD Cataratas del Iguazu, Foz do Iguaçu, Ciudad del Este (Guarani) and Hernandarias (Itaipu) shall be executed as follows:

a)Cataratas del Iguazu: race-track like pattern SSW from RWY centerline;
b) Foz do Iguaçu: race-track like pattern NNE from RWY centerline;
c) Ciudad del Este (Guarani): race-track like pattern WNW from RWY centerline;
d) Hernandarias (Itaipu): race-track like pattern WNW from RWY centerline.

Concentration of birds (Southern Lapwing, Rock Dove, Dovekie, Burrowing Owl, Great Kiskadee, Smooth-billed Ani, Groove-billed Ani and Black Vulture) in the TFC circuit, SECT APCH RWY 15/33 and LT (adjacent lawns) of RWY 15/33.
